Hello - I know this is an answer that I should already know, but I just wanted to see what folks more familiar with chimneys would say. I ran into in instance where the chimney terminated below the third floor roof line. It was above the second floor roof line, and is more than 10' away from the side wall of the third floor. There are no windows on that side of the third floor.

So, my question is, does this application meet the requirements for proper termination and clearance?

Thanks for any advice. - jd johnson

If the top of the chimney is at least two feet above any part of any building (even the neighbors) within ten feet horizontally, and is at least three feet high, then it sounds ok.
