Odd Personal Message Through This Board

So, I just noticed that I received an unsolicited personal message on May 19, 2017 through this board from someone calling himself Jim Knapp. He was asking why California home inspectors would be against licensing. I searched the CREIA and ASHI sites to see if he is a member and just "Googled" his name to see if I could get any information. He did state that he was a former licensed electrician. There is a Knapp Electric with an expired license (C-10) from 1996, but I did not do a protracted search.

The interesting bit is that he did not post his question publicly and I assume he targeted other CA inspectors. I have responded with a request for more information as to who he is and why he was asking.

Any other CA inspectors get a PM from him?

I just checked - there is a Jim Knapp listed in the membership list, just joined (I think on May 17th).

Yes, I did search the IN membership list and he seems to have joined on 5/19 and sent the message to me the same day. He has not been on since.
