I was able to have some time to finish my report for the inspection I did on Christmas Eve for a couple who is retiring after 22-years active duty in the Air Force.

I was proud to be able to help them get set for their first non-military housing in 22-years.

Was a good feeling for my personal Christmas to be able to help them. :)

My 5 yr old grand daughter picked out screwdrivers for me. Her day care has a "store" where the kids can select and pay for gifts they choose for their family. It just so happens I left my screwdriver in a crawlspace and needed to replace it.:)

I played a round of golf here in Thailand with my wife. Only a few errant shots!! HAHA Was a great day. Over here the golf coarse is on the army base. So they are all wearing helmets. But hitting a man with a golf ball who is wearing a gun is a bad idea to say the least.
Merry Christmas to you all.
OH what I got for Christmas.
An expensive gift from my wife. 99$
Being able to completely forget every broker I have ever met and not think about the past year in the HI business. PRICELESS

I got boxing gloves and a bag from my oldest daugther. Thought maybe she was concerned about my health, maybe I needed to excercise a little. But I think all she wanted to do was borrow my gloves to beat on me. Guess I need to learn to run faster.

Chocolate and lots of it!! Chocolate is my weakness, next to a good single malt!

Is there a "bad" single malt?:)

A few years ago we got a present of "single bean" chocolates from all over the world. This year we gave a couple of them. It's cheaper than single malt. My favorite, by the way, is Lagavulin.
Here's the chocolates. For serious fans of DARK only:

My wife gave me a Tom Tom GPS unit for the car. I used it today on the way to my afternoon inspection and it's great. The voice that comes on telling you where to turn gets annoying but you can turn the voume down. If you don't have a GPS unit in your car, it's a great tool to have, especially when you drive for work as much as we do.

Rick, my son got that game and I could barely talk today after belting out about 15 songs. Gives me more respect for the real rock star singers. Had a ball though, there were some good songs from my era that I actually knew the words to. Scored 100% on two of the songs on medium.

Frank,

I know the feeling. We played that Rock Star game for about 6 hrs straight the other day. Got pretty good at. The bass guitar I could handle, but the lead can wear you out.

Last night we had to go to Circuit City. There was a few kids playing it. I acted like I had never seen the game before and asked if I could play it. One laughed and said sure "Old Man".

I played through several of the songs at the best I've done so far. When done I turned around only to see a few standing there with their mouths wide open. Handed them the guitar and walked away saying that is a easy game to play. LOL.
