Very cool Joe. You've got to be a very proud and excited poppa. Your son is one big kid.

I agree with Nick. Sounds like your boy (big boy) is off to a great start.

Nick and Jerry, yes proud is right. But Jerry makes a good point which I stress to my son, it is a good start only. Much more work to be done, and I tell him as a Student-athlete, he is one knee injury away from being a student exclusively, which he has to be prepared for everyday.

Reality of life has ruined many athletes, at every level. Living a fantasy life that everyone dreams of can evaporate in one second, ie; Michael Vick.

One other thing I tell him, his legacy will be not how many fancy cars or houses he owned while on this planet, it will be how he cares for the people in his life, and raises his children. That is his legacy, and ours as well.

He has been fortunate to be blessed athletically, but how he uses his gifts to further himself as a person, only time will tell.
