CSST can this be good ?

Can this be acceptable, I have always seen the gas line connection to be underneath the gas logs not over top. ?? Doesn't look acceptable to me ??

I don't think that's CSST. It looks like a flexible connector.

A colleague of mine used to say "If it doesn't look right, it probably isn't." I would say that applies here.

It looks to me like the flame could come into contact with the connector.

The yellow is not CSST. It's an appliance connector.
