Hello,
I have come across an old "Fraser-Johnston" furnace. My sources for determining manufacture dates provides no clue to trying to make this serial number fit. This property is a triplex, the other two furnaces were manufactured in 1989 and 1966. The property was very run down and my client believes he can improve the neighborhood and make some $$$. The furnace burner cover was not in place and the air handler compartment cover was missing, which allows the furnace to pull return air from the attic. The pilot was lit, but it wouldn't fire up. Checked settings and jumpered to no avail. The serial number is E141203800007, model 120HBHOANL. The tag shows San Lorenzo, CA for an address. The unit is NG, attic installation. In my 11 year of doing inspections this is the first FJ furnace I've come across.
Can someone provide some help?
Thanks, Don
