Hello everyone, I'm Michael and I am currently in training to take the HI exam in IL. I ask a lot of questions but I will try to search for the answers before I ask. I was a member of another forum and came here due to inactivity and Senior members that would dismiss my inquires with a yes or no, without any explanation. I would like to end up being a contributor to this forum and I know there is a long road ahead of me.

I am a CMM programmer as well as an inspector of machined components that are used in the construction and transportation industries. I enjoy long walks on the... Sorry, wrong forum. I like to think that I am very detail oriented and a quick learner due to my current occupation. I am excited about this new career path and hope that I can find support here.

I have a small leather business. It is more of a hobby right now, but I am gaining some momentum. I specialize in wallets, belts, sheaths and I also do custom orders.

Thanks in advance for any insight and support that this community has to offer.

That's not what we do here.

Okay, occasionally there will be a yes or no answer to a question, but, even this forum is set up that one must use at least 5 characters, which precludes a simple "Yes." (4 characters) or "No," (3 characters) answer.

Sometimes we get around that minimum 5 character limit by including the required minimum 5 characters, such as:

Charlie Chaplin
Joe E Brown
Groucho Marx
Laurel and Hardy

We try to keep humor in the mix too. :focus:

I just wasted 5 minutes reading that whole thread and realized that I will never get those 5 minutes back.
