I guess I am to post here to introduce myself.
Let?s see?.
Well, I have a very dysfunctional relationship with my apartment?s Maintenance team.
I don?t know if it is just my apartment, or if other people are more laid back.
Anyway.
Whenever I call maintenance to do something that actually involves some kind of skill, I have to submit specific information, specific parts in question. Specific information as to why I am giving them specific information and specific information on how to fix it.
That is just trying to assist the possibility of success. Most of the time they still don?t get it right.
Most of the time they are maybe (I?ll be nice and not say they are) lazy, think I am an idiot, or they just still do not know how to do their job.
Those are opinions that I have developed over the last few years.
FYI I live on the 2nd Floor of a 3 Story apartment complex.
Having found this forum, I am quite optimistic at the idea of valid and legal answers regarding my maintenance standards and codes.
