Commercial: Stucco interface with flat work

Depends.

If on frame, stucco should clear landscape (earth) by 6" and hardscape (concrete flatwork) by 4".

If on masonry or concrete, and the stucco is less than 5/8" thick and fully adhered (as it should be), then the stucco can continue down into earth.
