Dear Sir/Madam,

As a graduate student I am working on a project on airconditioning for bedrooms in the USA. I would really appreciate it if you fill out the questionnaire which will only take about 5 minutes. In case you do not have airconditioning at home, you can also participate.

Thank you very much!

John,

I logged in as whodonit (if anyone wants to view the survey, you are welcome to do it that way), and, to me, it looked more like "manufacturing or sales research" than the "thesis" it was purported to be.

I did not fill it out.

I am too trusting and naive, usually. Although in other areas (politics) I can be quite cynical.

I am too, but when I scrolled down before I filled it out, those two (26 and 27) just stuck out from the rest of them. Then some of the others started to look that way.

Jerry, maybe it is a thesis on manufacturing or sales research...

ThesisTools, SurveySoftware; make and distribute the questionnaire for your thesis! (http://www.thesistools.com/)

Jim,

I thought about that, but the questions were to 'product specific' for that.

I think it was more of an actual research for sales or marketing than a thesis on it.

What I want to know is, where does all the hot air go?

Inspection News, just check out the threads that end up talking about those groups that have initials for names:D

Thanks for all your comments.
I can imagine you're a bit doubting about the research, but I can guarantee you it is not for marketing purposes. I am studying Industrial Design and the questionnaire is part of my thesis. Thanks to everyone who already filled out the questionnaire! Still, I need more participants.... :)
So please go to http://www.thesistools.com/?qid=55953&ln=eng

Thank you!

@Fritz Kelly.: Hot air is transferred to the outside by means of a refrigerant (compressive cooling)

Okay, I went back and did the survey, and included some comments (as requested in the survey) that you need to include two options/choices not given.

What type of ... should include these:

1) CENTRAL air

2) CENTRAL heat

Being as these options are not included, people with these central systems will be skewing the results by selecting some of the options indicated.
