I don't want to worry you, but these are being readied for use.

Hey, around here they have been using cordless drills to punch holes in the tanks of parked cars to drain out the gas to steal it. $75 gas theft cost $$$ to repair the damage.

I actually seen a woman crying yesterday at the gas pump. She told me she just couldn't keep paying these kind of prices for gas as it was starting to take food off the table from her kids.

She was in dire straights I could tell.

What a shame. :(

So as lockable gas cap will end up costing you a lot more, right?
What did Pogo say? "We have met the enemy and they are us."

WC Jerry,

Didn't know if you caught the "to punch holes in the tanks" part of Jim's post, if his post is what you were referring to.

I'd much rather leave the gas cap off and a siphon hose hanging out than to have them drill a hole in the tank to steal the gas.

Maybe they need to start double lining the tanks, and the space between the inner tank and the outer liner is filled with highly toxic septic water and bacteria - let the sucker die before they can do the same to a second tank.

Could cut the number of gas thieves down one at a time. :D

Mowing the yard this morning so I went into the service station and told the lady at the counter I just needed five dollars worth of gas and a receipt.

She farted and gave me the receipt. :D

From yesterday's news. You can't run away when it's your own face...

Richard,
An extendN climb fits perfectly in the rear of my 2004 S, your ladder looks like about 3-5 miles to the gallon.

Love my Mini, it like a go cart for grown ups.:)

As does the Telesteps. I never leave home without it.

The LG on the other hand...Yep, you are right. It's at least 3 MPG at freeway speeds. I check the MLS photos of houses that are any distance away. When I'm sure I won't need it, the LG stays home.

I figured a way to get my Werner ladder inside my Scion Xb and figure I gained about 1 or 2 mpg plus my ladder stays clean even in the rain on DFW freeways.

$99.01 to fill my truck today. Never liked the Chevy V8 in a truck. Wish I had another Ford with the straight 6.
Doesn't really matter anyway. The planet isn't going anywhere ... we are ... into history.

My new extend and climb 1A rated ladder fits well in the trunk of my Prius. I look up homes in advance on the county site to see it I need an extension ladder. If I do I can use the van. If not 41 miles to the gallon in my prius makes a big difference.
