Hi Tim and Welcome. If everything goes right I will be in Colorado Springs in mid August for a Radon CE class.

Yes, CE classes...

I've got to look into that myself. Enjoy your visit here, don't foget the Cog Train in Manitou, great ride up to Pike's Peak.

Just remember to take a jacket with you up to the top of Pike's Peak. We went last summer to visit my son and daughter-in-law and almost froze on the cog railroad! Pretty neat trip.

Scott,

Why not just come out and ask him for the room and dinner?

Evidently he's not catching on. :D

Rick,

You know that's what PM is for. ;)

Ya think!

I'll tell you that CO Springs is not a real inexpensive place to visit or to fly in to. I screwed up and missed a CE class for my radon cert this past winter and now it will cost me an extra $800 or so to get it.

The bears have been out of hibernation for a while. I am sure there is a cave or 2 open out there :)

Sorry, I did not see this post before now!

I really don't know who the instructor is, but it is at UCCS Aug 18-19

Scott,

For future reference CERTI (CERTI - Home (http://www.certi.us)) offers distance learning courses for Radon Measurement and Radon Mitigation. They have several courses that will qualify for your NEHA or NRSB CE requirements. This is an effective and economical alternative to travelling to Colorado Springs for a course. (Coincidentally, CERTI is also located in Colorado Springs.)

I plan to take CERTI's Radon Mitigation course for my CE requirements this winter.
