Did you take that yourself, or run across it on the net?

------

Before this gig, I used to own a successful company that build and installed async servers for large corporations. I'm still sometimes a bit taken aback by the *huge* drop in social status involved in this job.

I think Rick is bored.

It is odd that when people ask me what I do. and I reply Im a building inspector. One of those guys. then they will tell you a story of the inspector from HELL that came to inspect there property.

I keep thinking some day Im going to be a Real Estate agent!!!

But its like any thing eles. if they were to live in any other country and see the mess that building are in or the Electrical systems in london.

Best

Ron

Ron, always the best answer to that question is, "I'm a consultant."

I like that. Saves having to explain the difference between an appraiser and a Hi is. Maybe.

I have always been told that a consultant is someone from out of town and carries a briefcase. That somehow makes then an expert. :)

I think some one needs to talk to that Pastor/minister/priest and tell him what Christianity is all about. He might as well have been slapping a black man or Hispanic or Jew or whom ever.

Personally I think its cute. The Minister probably moonlights as a Home Inspector and wound up with one of those wonderful clients.

Actually the comment that, the huge drop in social status that goes with this job???????????

Personally the only folks that think poorly of home inspectors is the handful of folks that believe that we are guarantying that their home will never have a concern for as long as they own their home.

Come to think of it, the only clients I get a call like that is the ones that Realtors set up themselves. Do you think there might just be a connection?

Jerry

You need to tell me what software U are using to have such quick on the fly changes and additions.

Like I said the first one was cute. Rick should go back to that sign and add yours.

An older version of Paint Shop Pro. I've had my current old version (Version 6.0) about 10 years, and had Version 4 and 5 before that.

I think Corel bought them out several years ago, gussying it all up and, in my opinion, ruining it (at least for what I've always used it for).

I have no need for those fancy smancy things with it, I'm not much into 'photoshopping' (as it is now called) photos.

Go HERE (http://www.churchsigngenerator.com/classic5.php) and make your own church sign. Enjoy.

Michael,

That took just as much time to use that is it did with my Paint Shop Pro.

I just deleted the existing wording to the background color, selected the upper blue sign background color as my font color, then typed in the wording I wanted, even got to select the font I wanted. Quick, simple, etc., however, having that site is neat for those who do not have another quick and simple way to do it.

....... however, having that site is neat for those who do not have another quick and simple way to do it.And on that we agree.

I have gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) but am less than proficient at it.
