My kitchen doesn't get very much natural light because the only window is under the carport. I was thinking about installing a tubular skylight since they are not too expensive and are easy to install.

What do you think of these and have you had any expierences with them?

Have a happy and safe 4th of July. :)

John,

Those skylight types are used quite often around here. I've personally have never found a problem with them such as leakage.

You have to be careful in the placement of them. They do put out a intense amount of light. It is almost like a fluorescent light.

I really like the Velux Sun Tunnel skylight the best. If you use their flashing kit and follow their instructions they will not leak.
