Dang!! That structure shouldn't have fallen like that. Look how much overhang there is from those pillars. That person looks like they could have ben killed. I bet they just picked that trailer up brand new and weren't familiar with how big it actually was.

I would have to say that itlooks like that person probably was killed. Looks like the RV caught the awning by about 3 feet, that would put it coming down on top of the drivers' head!

To me it looks like it doesn't land on the top of the truck, but grazes the side.

Saw this on the web this morning.

"At approximately 3 PM, Tuesday, July 2, a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, pulling a new travel trailer, hit the corner of the Texas State Bank Drive-In on Tenaha Street, causing the complete awning to come to the ground. Luckily, the driver of the Dodge, Mickey Miller, of Garrison and his 10 year old son were able to exit their vehicle uninjured."

pulling a new travel trailer,

By that way, that is not a "travel trailer", it is a "fifth wheel" trailer.

Now is Mickey's son thinkin his dad is a dork? Did Mickey even have an account there or was he taking a short cut through the lot to the Walmart for propane gas?
