This sewer ejector pump was obviously outside. Just wanted to get some thoughts on the installation. First is the vent. This area gets about 400 of snow a winter. Plus the vent was about ten feet from the entry. The house was new and never occupied. However the odor from the vent started to stink up the house. Can this vent be relocated and extend up and exterior wall. Plus if left along should it be protected. This is the first installation of this type I have seen. They are always inside.
