It is a shame I don't live in Ohio and can't vote for whoever is running against this ***hole.

Rep. Bubp's office with questions on any state-related matters. His office can be reached by calling (614) 644-6034 or writing, State Representative Danny Bubp, at 77 S. High St., District 88, Columbus, OH 43215 or by e-mailing District88@ohr.state.oh.us.

I must have read that article 5 times, and still could not figure out WHY YOU would agree with J.B. THEN, I think I figured I out.
It's good that the two of you finally found something you can agree on.:D

Well, I live in ohio and I know this bill has started quite a stir with some of the local members of HI organizations. It doesnt seem to be too popular among them.

Why O' why Ohio?

Never agree with me it will tarnish your image, besides this is a pro-licensing website and you should get your ducks in order.

The only reason Brian puts up with me is I can create about 100 hits on this backwater website whenever I post. If you keep edgy and/or pithy you can work the system too.

Actually I never said anything about agreeing or disagreeing with the licensing in ohio. I just mentioned that with some local HI's that Ive talked to, it wasnt too popular.

I am too new to the industry to have decided one way or the other whether it will help or hinder ohio HI's.

Those of who hang here and have tasted the good life home inspecting can offer like to consider ourselves as belonging to a profession, industry is a far too cold and institutional a word to describe the society we are members of. BTW good luck with your journey.

Billy, the fact that no one understands you doesn't mean you're an artist.

The apparent fact that YOU do not understand Billy does not mean the rest of us do not understand Billy.

We understand him, and he makes a lot of sense talking about a senseless one. :D

Billy is quite the artist with those comments. :p

Billy, I have nothing against those people in Ohio, they are just out there is "somewhere land", which is where Joe needs to be ... "somewhere" beside where he is. :D

I just flushed this backwater web site. The site is now clean once again.

I'm betting that there will be even more people posting and more hits to the site now that Joe is gone.

Brian,

Thank you, there was always a skid mark in the bowl, I see it has gone now too. :)

It is not too hard to think of ways to put a new shine on that blade. Since there seems to be a lot of fervor over licensing, perhaps it can be made easy for the states: pass a test, stay clean, pay them a fews Grants a year; and they stay off our backs. Let the free market sort the bads ones out. The historical record just does not seem to support a need to license home inspectors. It does not seem realistic to expect that all states won't eventually license us. So maybe it should just be simple - the process - and let it alone. I dunno.
