Hi out there. This is my first post. I need help on the age of a Coleman furnace M/N: 2631D, S/N: 8696833. I have three different formats for determining age of Coleman furnaces, but this S/N fits none of them.

877-726-5362 why ask us when you can ask them. When in doubt Call the manufacturer.

Thanks for replying. The reason I asked is because it was nearly 9:00 PM and the customer needed the report right away. I sent the report and told him I would try to get the age of the furnace later.

Don, you will find that serching on the web for more info is a daily occurrance while doing the report. Save all good sites in a link list and good client docs in another folder so you can link your client or add documents to your reports. Why type it out when you can give them a saved doc or link.
I have found that many of the codes for dating systems are confusing and always call the MAnufacturer when confused, which is VERY often.
