Bruce,

Those remind me of some photo a home inspector / engineer friend in Miami showed me from a house he inspected once.

With the exception that, in his photo, those dirt columns, the dirt part, they were 8'-6" tall ... and still holding (for how long, no one knows). :D

You guys must have some good compaction down there Jerry. Up here you have a hard time building a sand castle.

Talk about undermining reminds me of this recent "issue" as realtors like to call them.

Looks like Bubba wanted a basement instead of a crawl. I wonder if he moved all of that dirt with the 5 gallon bucket?
