Which ITC course to take?
Hi everyone!
I'm going to Toronto to take an IR course in December.
ITC is putting it on. I want to get into Residential and Commercial Thermography. Should I take Thermography Level 1, Building Sciences,
or Residential auditing? The reason I ask is because they all seem similar in design. Which one would be more helpful? These courses don't seem to have pre-requisites so I'm looking for members who have had these experiences.
Thank you,
Jarrod

Re: Which ITC course to take?
I took the Level I Thermographer course with ITC 4 or 5 years ago and recently took IR For Buildings taught by Snell. I think the IR For Buildings (Snell) or Building Sciences (ITC) course would be the best choice for your purposes. Level I is more theory (lots of thermodynamics, heat transfer, infrared, etc.), which is good but the Buildings/Building Science course gets into more of what you want to do - use your IR camera to inspect buildings.
That's just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.
