It's unfortunate Mr. McClure chose to say what he did. He didn't do any of us a favour by using such a wide paint brush. He did a disservice to those of us who have passed litmus tests, and didn't just print biz cards and build a website. But then I don't have a book to sell.

“Then promptly, one of the associations — an American-based Internet outfit — back-doored the whole thing, and you could basically buy a licence online for Alberta,” he said. (oh my)
Sometimes I just can't help myself.
He believes the Ontario government is deeply aware of the flaws in Alberta and B.C.’s course of action, despite two associations here lobbying to take operation of the licensing system.

Re: Global News Toronto
Quite funny how you explain what did not happen while not being there.
You do this often?
I was in touch with the member, Vern Mitchinson is his name by the way, trying to get a foot in the door so he could be at the table while everyone there tried to keep them out.
Back door or prejudice because of individuals like yourself that are bias and prejudice spreading falsehoods
Yes, I understand completely.

Re: Global News Toronto
I don't have to explain anything. I simply posted the news article, and thought it interesting and funny that Cam said what he said. Full Stop! And I still find it amusing and correct.
Your arguement is moot. Again to repeat myself. I am simply the messenger. I posted the news article because it was news worthy. You can state I am prejudice, bias, or spreading falsehoods that's your opinion. I really don't care what you think. Contact Cam or The Kingston Whig-Standard and ask for a correction or apology.

Excuse me if I was mistaken.
Then promptly, one of the associations — an American-based Internet outfit — back-doored the whole thing, and you could basically buy a licence online for Alberta,” he said. (oh my)
Cam is a great guy from what I here but his point is moot from not being there as is the post.
Call Vern and ask him what transpired in Alberta.
I discussed it with him, not often and twice over the phone after that, as it moved forward.
You know you can buy anything legally over the internet. From cars to homes including graduate degrees.
One thing this negativity excised, the three sides.
You only hear his side, excluding her side and the truth.
Verm and the Alberta InterNACHI members introduced proctored exams into this growing cottage industry.
Funny what InterNACHI has achieved.
I guess Cam left to because the organization did not want to become Cam's organization.
Old news.

Re: Global News Toronto
CAM left NACHI for a number of reasons. There's also been a few more Canadians in numbers that followed with high profiles, so it's interesting to see the pattern.
Robert - you indicated that "I guess Cam left to because the organization did not want to become Cam's organization.
Old news."
Yes it may be old news, but it certainly was not "because Cam wanted it to be "his" organization". But it is obvious when he stated his "opinion" in the news article what he thinks of what transpired in Alberta. I know many others that were truly disappointed and made trips out there to discuss their dismay.
BTW- FYI: Cam does not and will not partake in "forums" for obvious reasons.

Re: Global News Toronto
Hey Claude thanks for the flashback.
But you left out the juicy intricacies of the events which led upto the souring as well as the all the fall out which resulted. Hey, but that's water under the bridge eh?
Well at least with Cam's article I don't have to write the editor as in the past to correct any embellishments. Well done Cam!
Best,
