Default Florida Inspectors - Please HELP Defeat SB 2234 and HB 1399

This is an ASHI site where you may easily compose a message to your House & Senate Representatives. By entering your Florida address it will automatically send it to your Representative. This is an easy way to contact your Representatives in Tallahassee, at this site you can edit out ASHI and replace it with NACHI in the text.

Here is one way we can look past the differences in our associations and work together for the betterment of our profession, I am confidant you will all do the right thing.

Uh, Joe. Didn't I read that they both have already passed in your legislature?

    As though we really care.

As the "professional" you 'profess' to be, you should be *for* licensing, as to some of the un-professional attitudes you sometimes espouse here, this fight fits right in.

    Cheers!

Joe... How can I as a non-resident help?

Can non-residents take the nachi on-line quiz used by 1450 "certified" Fla. inspectors for the Govener and his staff, and provide them non-verified documents so they can also be marketed to the Fla. residents as "certified " inspectors???

I'll let my customers, bank account & lifestyle attest to my professionalism, my previous licensed contractor status and current certified ICC status just proves that exams are designed to be passed and any idiot can get certified.

The major difference between me & you is that I have always been against expanding government power regardless of how it might benefit me and will continue to do so in other areas long after this profession has been thrown under the government control bus.

You on the other hand appear to be a political party lackey who would trade your birthright for a bowl of porridge. Hopefully you and yours will suffer from your Pyhrric victory becoming an example of what can happen when good men support bad legislation. Now only time will tell.
