    Default Just a little notch

I found this today on a McMansion. I could only get to one side of the attic and this roof line had three more sides that I'm betting are just like this.

Scott, that looks like a stair riser that got installed in the roof rafters. On the job training for a new framing crew? What did the stairs look like?

    JUST KIDDING!

    Hi Scott:

You are obviously not familiar with the concept of "make it fit." Check out this hip and rafter assembly.
