    Default Evidence of newer collar ties?

    I don't necessarily see a problem here, but some of these collar ties look fresher than the rest. Could it just be a different species or do you guys think they have been replaced or added for some reason?

    It looks like they reused the form boards. The gray looks like cement coating.

    That was my guess too, looks like they used it up in the walls also as you can see it on the top of the studs in the back left. I kind of wonder about the racing stripe across the back hip??? 1x6 roof boards that were also used in the concrete??? Or, is it something else?
