    Default Spray foam question

Why would they have a sprayed foam roof deck and still have blown in insulation in the ceilings and batts on the walls? The ducts were in the attic space. What issues would this cause other than the attic temp not equalizing with the interior temps as much? They also have a Cat 1 furnace with combustion ducts into the sealed attic. Big attic so I believe that would be ok, but have not ever seen it done this way.

Probably a retrofit install and didn't remove the existing insulation.

If there is no existing vapor barrier, it shouldn't be a problem.

Is that vertical sidewall an exterior or partition wall?

It was a partition wall so it likely needs to be removed so that there is no vapor barrier.
