Stuff in attics
I have to wonder what the person was thinking when they cut the 2 litre bottle up for the bathroom fan. It did nothing to get the exhaust up and out.

The other photo is of some intruders. Their toilet area was very nasty. I didn't get that close.

It looks like the 2 litre bottle is being used as a baffle, to keep the insulation away from the exhaust fans outlet.

Just curious, do you know what kind of bats those are? We have a lot of Mexican freetails here in Austin. We have the largest urban bat colony in the world (1.5 million bats) that live under a bridge over the Colorado river downtown.

I think that is a Little Brown Bat. They are common throughout TN.
