Based on the pictures this is a judgment call and from the pics I don't see a problem.

This looks like almost every attic space I inspect around Houston.
Maybe we just get kind of de-sensitized to it, but I only write up broken rafters, missing framing members, etc.

I cant find the real ammo I need to put in a report that there is a 1/8" gap between a rafter and a ridge board or a collar tie and a rafter. And even if I could, the majority of homes would have "repair" written up on their framing.
