Bathroom glass window
How can I tell if this is safety or tempered glass. There were no markings on the window and it was very thin. Thanks

If no markings you have to assume it's not safety/tempered.

Either that or use the ball peen hammer test ... you know, the one which verifies that it WAS safety glass or that it WAS not safety glass.
The markings are required to be visible after glazing, so, if the markings are not there, 'it is not safety glazing as required by the code' (which means it could be safety glazing, but not *as required by the code* - which stops the arguments from the builders end).

This is a simple test of wits.
If something has a rating, it will be listed. If not, then you have to assume that it is of the lowest rating, being even if it has a rating.
If there is nothing to prove that it's above base value, then it has to be taken as base, and nothing more. You can not assume anything.
