IS a Kickout necessary?
This is a 1965 split entry house. The chimney penetrates roof rake. The motar and brick both have deterioration. Should a water kickout be built on the head flashing? It is seldom seen in our area. Or the other option, cover it with concrete.
Also, the buyer wants to change the carport into a suite. Possibly the foundation has to be drill the holes for plumbimg. Is this fine?
Thank you

Re: IS a Kickout necessary?
Thank you Guys. I suggest them to extend Head flashing & even cover the brick with concrete.
