    Default Stucco touching roof surface

    What is the standards for EIFS stucco finish being kept off the roof surface ?? Thanks in Advance

    If that is barrier EIFS, the no weep screed would be required as it was (yeah, right) a "barrier" system.

    If it was a newer EIFS with a drainage plane behind it, then a weep would be needed.

    As I recall (I'm not an EIFS person), the bottom of barrier EIFS still required an accessory protecting the bottom edge - Scott P. or one of the other EIFS experts here will swat at me if I am wrong, or may confirm if I am correct ... either way - I'll duck.

    It either needed the plastic accessory or to be backwrapped
