From the old board, Plywood Patio & Plywood Sidewalk
In the last week I have run across a plywood patio (side yard of an 85-year-old house) and a plywood sidewalk (back yard of a 10-year-old house). Hey, it's quick, it's easy and it's cheap! When it rots just throw down a few more sheets of plywood.

That small piece in the middle is not treated, they'd better do something with that one.

Is it just the angle of the photo or is that sliding door smaller than usual?

Kevin,

It's a moot point. After I killed the deal the buyer decided to look for another house with fewer problems.

Maybe the wood ramp makes the sliding door opening appear smaller.

Uh, kidding about the untreated piece.

Not a surprise the buyers walked away. If the plywood walk is any testament to the overall quality, I'd say that was a good move on their part.

Now, what listing agent in their right mind wouldn't insist that be corrected before sticking a sign out front?
