Contractor Needed - InspectionNews

Many of us know a number of good building contractors. I certainly do in my area. A long time friend of mine is the Associate Director for St. Jude's Research Hospital (Dream Home Program) Nationwide. Since I am a member here, he asked if I could inquire with other inspectors in the Detroit or Lansing area to recommend the best Building Contractors there. He is considering building one of thier Dream Homes in one of both of these cities. The proceeds they receive is one of the major sources of revenue for St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Any of you in these cities have any first hand knowledge of High end Contractors?

The idea is to get some feedback from inspectors who have inspected new construction in the cities mentioned and who know of the quality of workmanship of specific contractors. I checked out the site you mentioned but it is geard toward contractors. I'm not sure it would be helpful to ask contractors themselves

if they are any good.
