    Default Stair Problem?

    The inspector said my stair wasn't equipped with a code complying safety handrail. Is that so?

    Ummmm ... did your inspector also say that that space at the bottom of the handrail exceeded 4" to the wall and needs to be reduced?

    And, it looks to me like the guardrail height is too low.
