Ceiling ht. above water heater
Hi guys. Quick question. I have a gas water heater in a small laundry area that has a low ceiling height. Understood the PRV drain is not to code, and there are other issues with this install but I'm curious about the low ceiling. Is there a minimum height required here?
Thanks all for looking.

The only minimum I can think of would be the minimum requirement of 5 feet for the minimum height of the vent.
How high above the draft hood was the vent gas cap on the roof? At least 5 feet?

Gentlemen, Thanks for the quick reply. What a great resource this forum is.
Jerry - the vent extends the required 5 feet above the roofing.
