How high can a trampoline stairway be off the ground before handrails are required?

Just curious, do you also inspect swing sets, slides, and bicycles.?

I can't remember if a friend told me this, or I read it here, or what, but when their insurance company found out they had a trampoline, they were given 48 hours to remove it or lose their coverage.
