Means of egress
Inspected a home built in 1975 today. One of the rooms in the basement had an attached bathroom with a window large enough to satify egress requirements, although there was no window in the bedroom. Does the window in the bathroom satisfy the requirement or is a window needed in the bedroom.

The window in a bathroom does not meet the EERO requirements.
Is there an egress door in the bedroom?
Also the bedroom needs to have natural light and ventilation.

egress and rescue openings shall be required in each sleepingroom"

The Sleeping Room must have a proper sized Emergency Egress in the room, not down the hall, in the bath but inside the sleeping room.
