I would say poking around with a screwdriver

I see alot of plastic seal and trim problems on cheap a$$ windows (and some "good" windows) from heat buildup, especially if there are blinds or shades that are always down, but it is darn hot where I am.

Manufactured wrong. The production worker responsible for wrapping the insulated glass with a drop in glazing. Unless of course the warranty on the window says 'not to install in the sun.'
