New code for vent hoods
New code states that you have to have a lunch pale or cooler installed as a vent hood for range exhaust. because of the cost of living these new hoods collect deposits for your lunch.

Is that the proper exhaust vent for this range hood. The instructions for this one specifies Barbie cookware - the only kind that will fit.

Jonathan,
I suspect that you also do not have minimum required clearance to combustible material above the range hood, if that will help in your report against having to use Barbie cookware.

Same thing with this range / microwave as far as clearances. Actually the clearance is shorter if you figure in the height of the heating element.
