copper high loop
A first for me. Never seen a copper high loop before.

1/2" is not acceptable by the plumbing code for a drain for the dw.It should be 3/4" which is what the inlet for the disposal inlet is.

Copper tubing is expensive but most dw come with a flexible drain hose or you can buy a rubber hose at any home improvement store which is what the older dw came with.
