I suggest politely asking the owner for his record book demonstrating conformance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

Michael, Just out of curiosity, what is that venting. I've seen those a lot on dryer vents.

I like that siding,,, we don't see very much of it anymore...

As long as the owner publishes a maintenance schedule (as previously pointed out) since it appears to be outside and may help with global warming...oops climate change, it should be OK
