Thread: We just saved a boatload on E and O

We are a multi-inspector firm with 12 field personnel and an office manager. Our E and O carrier which we really like and which has a high profile in our industry, wanted to jack up our premium by almost double to about 12 grand this year. We shopped around and found a similar policy with comparable coverage by Hanover for less than half what our previous insurer wanted us to pay. That's real money and we feel fortunate to have stumbled onto it. Ben Garrison at Elite MGA in California signed us up. Just thought I'd pass it along. I hope more of you can save some dough.

Yes.. just me but like I said that's E&O and General.

We just signed on with Ben Garrison from Elite MGA. I researched other companies and Ben gave us the best deal. Thanks, Ben!

Just updating my previous post to let it be known Ben did contact me and we will likely be switching to his company soon..

I'd be more interested to know why the vast difference in premium price?

Also is Elite writing policies in Ontario, Canada.

That price is very good, that is what E&O should cost, not any more, and certainly not any more than the prices I see some are paying up here in the great white north.

It was almost the identical pricing between the two I know of, they must be well aware of each others practices? OR, he read my post! LOL!

The pricing can vary among E&O providers or it can be similar. There are differences with how we each operate and the types of carriers we use to insure our clients. I think service is a big consideration as you want to get a live voice on the other end of the phone when you need something.

Raymond, unfortunately I don't write in Canada and haven't since my FREA days. Heard the prices up there have increased... well, something about HUB having a rate increase?
