    I've seen a lot of screwed up panels before, but I do not recall having see one THAT screwed up.

    I would truly recommend THE ENTIRE HOUSE be gone over, device by device, by a competent licensed electrical contractor.

    And I'm not kidding - no telling what the electrician will find when he starts removing devices!

    Basically what I told 'em. The place also has Mr. Knob and Mr. Tube still in residence. I think I found one grounded receptacle in the whole house. It's about 100 years old.
