    Default Switch for shower fixture

What new home doesn't want the convenience of being able to switch the light while taking a shower. This was a builders idea of "extras".
Height from threshold to luminary: 7' 6". Shower to switch 14".

Michael, is there a minimum distance for the switch? If there is, I'm unable to find it in the NEC.

Distance shmistance. The switch cannot be within range of touch from anywhere in the shower and that would include pro ball playres who's arms are looooooooooooooooooooong.

You may say code, shmode, but I don't believe that is a problem, code-wise.
