calking used on electrical wires
Hello:
I have question for you, out there, what in your opinion is the best material to used, around an SE-R cable that run from the exterior
disconnect thru a drill, that allow the SE-R cable to enter the basement
of a home. I see a lot of duck seal product, but I want to know if anyone
knows of anything better than duck seal. Thanks in advance to all who
take the time to answer this post.

Re: calking used on electrical wires
Mostly electrical wires are affected by externally environment such as corrosion, acid rain and ultraviolet rays. You have to apply the cover on wire which can resist water and fogs from environmental.
Example:
optical fibers ( that is highly protected).
