    Default groovy light switches

    Who can tell me about these switches? One turned on an interior flood that kept dimming and brightening, dimming and brightening...

    Those are 'touch on', 'touch off', 'touch and hold to dim/brighten'.

    My concern is, because they are dimmers and do dissipate heat, that they may not be rated to be installed horizontally like that and stacked above one another as shown. That could very well limit the heat dissipation from the dimmers, and each successively higher dimmer would be additionally heated from the dimmer(s) below.
