Results of non-certified electrical work.
Divorced woman hires a man to update electrical wiring in her home. He claims he has worked for a reputable electrical company for four years and can do the job. He is hired and begins to update as she has requested. Upon my inspection of the newly converted 1960's two prong polarized outlets to the current three-prong, I found that the original wiring had not been updated, only the outlets changed out and a ground wire attached to the original metal boxes.
Is it okay to re-install the original two-prong outlets on the old wire and have some of the three-prongs with new wire still usable?

We need more specifics or a different wording of the question. A 640 X 480 picture of the panel minus the cover would be good.
Without seeing the invoice and a description of the work, we can't say too much about the job.
