    Default Outlet requirement

This wall along the landing is about 6 feet. Single family home built in 97. Would an outlet be required along the wall at a landing.

I'd say no.... the most stingent rule you could apply would be a hallway which is every 10 feet. It's not a room where the 2 foot rule would apply... at least not IMO. I'm sure someone may have a differning idea.

Either way it's nothing that would ever make my radar.

A stairway is not a habitable room so the 6/12 rule does not apply. It is also not a hallway so that requirement does not apply either.
