    Exclamation Lead Covered Conduit?

I inspected a 1930's remodel, and found wiring in the crawlspace that covered with a soft/gray material.
I have never seen this before. Is it lead?
I recommended a second opinion by a licensed electrician.

I've never seen lead conduit, but that doesn't mean much. Why would it be a problem?

They had lead covered wires and cables, but I'd forgotten about them, haven't seen them in 45-50 years when I started helping my Dad re-wire old houses, mostly from knob and tube to NM cable. I was a just a kid then.
