    What year did they start using breakers in your area?

    Trying to figure out what you are really asking and why.

    The house is 1966, trying to figure out if there has been an electrical upgrade. Panel is GE

    Mostly fuses into the 1950s and some into the 1960s, but some breakers in the 1950s too. So going with a breaker in the 1960s would be logical.

    Size-wise, the 150 amp would not be uncommon, no different than 150 amp fuses.
