    Default Panel location

    I inspected a two family apartment style home (separate metering) with both panels located in the basement of one unit.

    The panel is not accessible to one of the units unless they get permission to access the panel from basement of other unit.

    Is there anything in the code that requires "readily available access" to your service equipment or distribution panel?
